Chris Burton, Kin
Chris was involved in competitive sports from a young age, playing baseball, soccer , and basketball. As an adult he took an interest in exercise, health and performance and his career is a manifestation of his passion for these things- learning to help himself and his clients to feel and perform their best.
After completing his degree in Kinesiology in 2003 he continued with advanced exercise education primarily through the CHEK institute and became a certified CHEK Practitioner back in 2013. As a CHEK Practitioner he learned to assess the body as a whole and reveal underlying detriments to movement efficiency and often the causes of decreased performance and pain.
He recently became a student of osteopathy through the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada and has further enhanced his skill set to assess and treat clients.
The skills he has acquired have given him the ability to assess and determine what an individual’s mechanical and physiological needs are in order to achieve their health, fitness and performance goals and how to design highly effective exercise programs to help achieve best results.
