Noah Fischer, Clinical Counsellor
Noah (he/him) recently moved to Kelowna, BC, and is enjoying exploring the beautiful scenery and vibrant community of the Okanagan. Originally from Kamloops—on the unceded and traditional lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc people within Secwepemcúl’ecw—he feels privileged to have called these lands home and to now be building new connections in Kelowna.
As a therapist, Noah believes it is essential to acknowledge the privilege he holds as a white, cis-gender man and to reflect on the many ways this identity shapes his work. As a queer, gay man, he brings a unique lens to his practice—one that empowers him to engage in advocacy and provide meaningful support for 2SLGBTQPIA+ individuals and other marginalized identities.
Before joining Harmony Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic, Noah worked extensively within the queer community, including supporting 2SLGBTQPIA+ students through one-on-one services and programming in a post-secondary setting.
Outside the therapeutic space, Noah can often be found visiting local breweries with friends, watching RuPaul’s Drag Race (he may even ask who your favourite queen is), and spending time with his beloved cat, Ravioli (Ravi).
